We’re Italian and we’re passionate about creating boutique food & wine travel experiences to some of the less traveled regions of Italy.
Our travels are for food and wine lovers, yes, and all our itineraries include winery visits and wine tastings, but you’ll also get a truly immersive Italian experience and you’ll return home with a deeper knowledge not only of Italian wines and food, but also of true Italian culture. That’s because we don’t just whisk you from monument to museum. We sit down and talk with local winemakers, cooks and artisans. We make sure you have a meaningful, one-on-one interaction with the people you meet. Plus, our destinations are slightly off the tourist track, so you’ll get an all-around more authentic travel experience unburdened by crowds of fellow visitors.
It goes without saying that on our trips you’ll sip outstanding wines, many of which you can’t find in the United States. You’ll visit well-known wineries as well as really small ones, where you can have a nice chat with the winemaker. You’ll also get to taste the local street food and eat at the best spots—not just the Michelin-star restaurants but hole-in-the-wall osterie, too. You’ll explore castles and medieval towns, learn to make traditional dishes from a nonna (OK, maybe not an actual grandmother), and have truly local experiences you won’t find in guidebooks that will stay with you forever. That’s because our trips are personally curated and hosted by our Italian founder, Laura Giannatempo, drawing upon her intimate knowledge of Italy, an extensive local network and years of experience.
